MING 20.01 Series 5: A futuristic titanium chronograph
The MING 20.01 Series 5 combines cutting-edge horology with science-fiction-inspired design. Limited to just 25 pieces, it’s priced around 312,000 DKK.
MING has unveiled the 20.01 Series 5, an advanced chronograph inspired by science fiction and limited to only 25 examples. The watch reflects the brand’s ongoing pursuit of innovation through both design and engineering.
Building on the earlier 20.01 series, the new model showcases one of MING’s most ambitious dial designs to date. The dial is laser-milled from a single solid block of metal, creating a complex pattern of interlocking radial and horizontal lines that gives remarkable depth and dimension.
The case measures 41.5 mm in diameter and 14.2 mm thick, built from 34 individual components with four distinct surface finishes. A hybrid construction of stainless steel and titanium gives the watch a distinctive presence, while the “flying blade” lugs add lightness and architectural balance.

Craftsmanship and technical precision
Inside, the AgenGraphe Calibre 6361.M1, developed in collaboration with Agenhor, delivers around 55 hours of power reserve through twin barrels. The manually wound movement features 5N rose-gold-coated bridges with polished anglage, adjusted in six positions for optimal accuracy.
Functions include hours, minutes and a central chronograph with instantaneous jumping minutes. Sapphire crystals front and back provide full visibility, while double-sided anti-reflective coating ensures clarity. The case offers 50 meters of water resistance, and the watch is delivered with both a dark blue Alcantara strap and a black FKM rubber strap.

Price and exclusivity
The MING 20.01 Series 5 retails for CHF 37,500, with delivery in 6–8 weeks. Buyers receive a two-year warranty and a complimentary service within the first five years.
With the 20.01 Series 5, MING once again demonstrates its reputation as one of the most creative forces in independent watchmaking — where design innovation meets uncompromising technical artistry.
