MoonSwatch brings Snoopy back into orbit

MoonSwatch

The latest MoonSwatch combines Moonshine Gold, Snoopy, and an Earth phase indicator showing how our planet appears from the Moon.

Omega and Swatch continue their successful collaboration with Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold, introducing a new complication to the MoonSwatch line. The watch displays not only moon phases but also Earth phases, depicting the planet’s changing appearance from the lunar surface in a 29.5-day cycle.

The Earth phase moves in reverse to the moon phase – when there’s a full Moon, we see a new Earth, and vice versa. First introduced in 2024, the feature adds another layer of astronomical symbolism to the collection.

Snoopy and Moonshine Gold in focus

The dial depicts Snoopy and Woodstock in full space gear, gazing at Earth from the Moon’s surface. Under UV light, a hidden phrase inspired by NASA’s legacy and the Omega Speedmaster tradition is revealed. The illustrations pay tribute to the spirit of adventure and creativity that has defined Omega since the Apollo missions.

At 2 o’clock, a moonphase indicator features two radiant full moons coated with Omega’s Moonshine™ Gold – a proprietary gold alloy known for its soft glow. One moon shows Snoopy in his signature style, while the other references the so-called Beaver Moon.

Bioceramic construction and astronaut-inspired strap

The 42 mm case is crafted from navy-blue Bioceramic, a Swatch-developed material combining ceramic and bio-sourced plastic. The crown and pushers share the same material, while the white opaline dial features hour markers coated in Grade A Super-LumiNova®.

The blue VELCRO® strap, inspired by astronaut gear, secures the watch comfortably, while the caseback features an Earth motif engraved with the phrase “I Beat Everybody.” The watch runs on a quartz chronograph movement and is water-resistant to 3 bar. The expected price is around DKK 2,700.

Limited to one lunar cycle

Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold will only be available for a short period – from the Beaver Full Moon on November 5, 2025, to the New Moon on November 20, 2025 – at selec
