Swan & Edgar launches Horizon – British watch with strong history
The Horizon collection combines minimalist design with references to the iconic White Cliffs of Dover and the Battle of Britain in 1940.
In 2025, British brand Swan & Edgar introduces a new collection that stands out from its earlier models. The Horizon series is inspired by both nature and history, proving how minimalist watches can carry strong symbolism while maintaining an elegant appearance.
Traditional case with modern proportions
The Horizon models feature a polished 316L stainless steel case measuring 39.5 mm in diameter and 11.3 mm in height. The proportions strike the balance between a classic dress watch and a versatile everyday piece. The screw-down caseback is embossed with a motif of the White Cliffs of Dover, serving as a direct tribute to an iconic British landmark. The water resistance is rated at 50 meters – sufficient for daily wear.

Two distinctive dial versions
The collection debuts in two variations:
- Mineral Musou, with a natural white quartz stone dial placed over a Musou black base that absorbs nearly all visible light. The result is a floating effect at the center of the dial.
- Blue Enamel, with a Swiss Berlac enamel fumé dial that fades from a lighter center to darker edges, inspired by the sea at the cliffs.
Both models feature sword-shaped hands, a red-tipped seconds hand, and a triangular plaque at 12 o’clock – details that reference RAF sector clocks used during the Battle of Britain.

Comfortable strap and reliable movement
The watches are fitted with Italian suede straps tailored to the case for a seamless transition. Thanks to quick-release spring bars, straps can easily be swapped between the light grey strap for the Blue Enamel and the dark grey strap for the Mineral Musou.
Inside, the Horizon is powered by the Miyota 9015 automatic movement, a Japanese caliber with a 42-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
Limited edition and price
The Swan & Edgar Horizon is limited to just 300 pieces worldwide. The first 150 buyers will receive a special launch coin commemorating the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The models are priced at £795 (approx. €925 / $1,000) and can be pre-ordered directly from Swan & Edgar.
