Tudor Ranger now returns in a new 36 mm model

The Tudor Ranger returns in a new 36 mm version with an updated dial and MT5400 movement, priced at 3,260 EUR.

The model features a 36 mm stainless steel case with a satin finish and a thickness of 11 mm. The case uses a screw-down crown in steel and offers water resistance to 100 metres. Ranger comes on a green fabric strap with red and beige stripes.

The dial has large Arabic numerals at twelve, three, six and nine, along with a black domed surface. The Dune white version is a reference to desert themes and Tudor’s historical links to expeditions and harsh environments.

The watch is powered by the Manufacture Calibre MT5400, certified by COSC. The movement offers a power reserve of around 70 hours and uses a bidirectional rotor. It provides stability and requires minimal maintenance in daily use.

Tudor Ranger 36 mm in focus

Ranger is priced at 24,350 kr. in Denmark, placing it among several other robust steel watches in the same size category. Tudor highlights that the model draws on the brand’s expedition heritage, including environments with heat, rocks and sand dunes.

The caseback is closed in steel. At the front sits a domed sapphire crystal that adds a slight vintage look without reducing durability. The bezel is made of satin-brushed 316L steel, matching the rest of the case.

Specifications and market position

The watch has a lug width of 19 mm, making it possible to switch between different strap types. Tudor also offers Ranger models on a steel bracelet or hybrid strap, though the fabric strap is the most distinctive.

The Ranger series has seen rising interest in recent years, especially as more brands introduce smaller tool watches around 36 mm. Many enthusiasts note that the smaller sizes make the watch easier to wear daily. Tudor Ranger therefore fits into a growing segment followed closely by both new and experienced collectors.
