Timex and Todd Snyder launch the Dylan watch
Timex has once again teamed up with American designer Todd Snyder. The result is a limited edition watch based on the Marlin series.
Timex is known for creating affordable watches with strong design references, and its collaborations with Todd Snyder have already produced several successful models. The new Dylan limited edition continues this tradition, drawing direct inspiration from Snyder’s iconic Dylan suede jacket.
A watch with vintage dimensions
The Dylan is built on the Timex Marlin platform, originally introduced in the 1960s. With a case diameter of 34 mm and a thickness of around 10 mm, the watch embraces the classic sizing that has made a strong comeback in 2025.
The crystal is made of acrylic rather than sapphire — a deliberate nod to the original Marlin models. This choice enhances the retro character and gives the watch a warm, vintage look.
Two colors inspired by the Dylan jacket
The Timex Dylan comes in two variations, each matching the colors of Todd Snyder’s most popular jackets:
- Olive – with a gold-toned case, olive dial, and matching leather strap. The applied numerals are executed in elegant Breguet style.
- Black – with a stainless-steel case, black dial, and black strap. A timeless option for those seeking a versatile everyday watch.
Both versions feature bold dauphine hands matching the case and offer 30 meters of water resistance, making them suitable for daily wear.
Quartz movement and affordable style
Inside beats a precise quartz movement, ensuring reliable performance without the need for winding. This underlines the Dylan’s role as a stylish yet practical everyday watch.
The price is set at USD 149, roughly EUR 140, making it far more affordable than the jacket that inspired it — while still offering the same strong design language.
A limited edition with collector appeal
The Timex Dylan is produced as a limited edition, adding collector value. While no specific production number has been announced, previous Timex x Todd Snyder collaborations have sold out quickly.
