MING celebrates its 8th anniversary with the 57.04 Iris, a limited edition of only 100 watches featuring Art Deco inspiration, a new case design and a color-shifting dial.

MING introduces the 57.04 Iris as a limited edition of only 100 watches. Inspired by Art Deco, the watch debuts a new case concept and a dial with a striking color-shifting effect.

The MING 57.04 Iris celebrates the brand’s 8th anniversary with a design that stands apart from earlier collections. Produced in just 100 pieces, it highlights both a fresh design direction and a dial that constantly shifts its appearance.

The watch introduces MING’s fifth-generation design language, drawing heavily on Art Deco influences. Its case features newly developed stepped lugs with sharply defined surfaces and contrasting finishes. Achieving the nested effect required precision engineering and close collaboration with manufacturing partners.

The dial of the 57.04 Iris is deeply domed and fluted, but its most eye-catching feature is the unique treatment that makes the color shift depending on the light. The surface moves seamlessly between turquoise, violet and multiple shades of blue. According to MING, the color is “impossible to define” and must be seen in motion to be fully appreciated.

Art Deco inspiration and left-hand crown

The model is described as a “left hand drive” watch, with the crown positioned on the left side of the case. This creates a different balance and further emphasizes Iris as a distinctive anniversary piece.

MING launched its first watch in 2017, and with the 57.04 Iris the brand takes a bold step into a new era, where sculptural forms and architectural lines play a key role.

According to the design team, the ambition was to combine simplicity with a strong visual presence. “We wanted to create a watch that not only celebrates our journey but also marks the beginning of a new chapter,” says MING at the launch.

Price and availability

The MING 57.04 Iris will be available to order from August 26 at 1 PM CET through the brand’s website and selected retail partners. The watch is priced at approximately 16,000 EUR (around 120,000 DKK) and is expected to sell out quickly due to the limited run.

MING has previously seen several of its limited editions sell out within minutes. Collectors are therefore advised to act fast if they want to secure one of the 100 pieces.
